Lesley Moore

Overview

Lesley Moore is an independent consultant with thirty years’ experience in social care to Assistant Director level and with the Department of Health (SSI). She is an experienced social care professional, manager and evaluator whose operational experience includes managing social work, early years’ services, hospital and CAMHS based services to a senior level. She has worked as Assistant Director of both Adults and Children’s services, in three London Boroughs. During 5 years with the Department of Health SSI Lesley inspected the full range of social care services and acted as the national lead for Family Support, and the Regulation of Day Care services, developing a wide range of skills in evaluation both within and across organisations.

As an independent consultant, Lesley has undertaken organisational reviews, needs analyses, and enabled councils and other stakeholders to develop their workforce strategies

Lesley is the Director of Moore Insight Ltd and a trained Appreciative Inquiry practitioner using strengths based approaches to facilitate joint agency conferences, enabling whole systems to work together in new and sustainable ways. She also facilitates team and management development events and provides appreciative coaching to managers, practitioners and private clients.
